Dunno… if he poses in a Arsenal shirt tomorrow and his next game he just strolls through it with his arms on his hips like Ince did at Stoke… then yeah…

No he isn’t and doesn’t have to. Ince had to force a move, Sullivan will happily sell
Rice in July and he doesn’t have to play up to get a move

Re: Is Rice behaving the same way as Ince
Can’t see much difference apart from as you say not wearing a Arsenal shirt. He is still under contract and playing for us as our captain and putting it about that he wants to join another club when we are half way though the season that could see us relegated.

Running down his contract is exactly the same as forcing a move, Rice new he was doing this 2 seasons ago .

Not in the slightest.

no, though I think he wanted away in the summer and threw his dummy out during preseason. the only talk about the arsenal move is coming from those cunts, if the club had anything about them they'd report them for tapping up. he's welcome to go as long as they pay what he's worth (which in comparison to similar british transfers is £80m+)

Re: Is Rice behaving the same way as Ince
Why would Rice sign a new contract and tie himself to the club when he knows that he’ll have many big teams across Europe after him when he leaves?

He wants to play at the highest level and win trophies. Obviously. Absolutely ridiculous to even dream that he’d be thinking anything else. Every single person on here would do the same.

Re: Is Rice behaving the same way as Ince
It isn't as bad as Ince but still stinks. Spent the most money last summer ever to welcome players to a side with an inexperienced club captain (he was only captain on field before when noble was about) who is leaving cos we don't fulfill his desires. That is not the message u send to new signings. Noble would be telling them why they should be proud of being a hammer and life in East London etc whereas rice will have been telling them where he is going next, what he is gonna win etc. Terrible message to send out. Should have been stripped of captaincy. I hate the fucker and he makes me sick and has done all season. I know its not the general feeling but it's my opinion and I've had it since beginning of season. I questioned his mindset and the effect it would have. U all say he isn't doing an Ince but i bet he fucking would if we made things difficult. I bet this arsenal nonsense is all a smoke screen and I fully expect him in a Chelsea shirt next season. He is keeping his fingers crossed they can scrape Europe football.

Re: Is Rice behaving the same way as Ince
Rice is nothing like that Judas Ince....I don't blame him for wanting to leave. He is very unlikely to win anything here.He has been our best player this season and most of last.

Good luck to him.

There are some right thick cunts on here.

Once he leaves fuck.him. while he's wearing our shirt I love him

Re: Is Rice behaving the same way as Ince
He’s leaving because he wants to win trophies and is a top class player. I’d love him to stay but can’t blame him for wanting to go, he doesn’t owe us anything. It’s hard to accept as West Ham fans because we love the club, he was brought up a Chelsea fan so doesn’t have the same affinity

swindon hammer 12:15 Tue Jan 31
Re: Is Rice behaving the same way as Ince
Even the likes of Bobby Moore, Martin Peters, Paul Allen, Tony Cottee etc who were born locally and were at West Ham since they were kids all wanted to leave at some point because they wanted to win trophies.

Don’t blame Rice at all.

The club just need to operate like Daniel Levy and get the best price possible.
